Edward Lee is a national champion and a three-time world champion in billiards, a five-time national champion in swimming and a 1982 Hall of Fame inductee.

Edward Lee was born on September 29th, 1905. Lee joined the NYAC as a member of the Club's swim team. During his tenure with the Club, he won five national championships in long distance swimming.

Like many other NYAC athletes, Lee specialized in more than one sport. Although he was a national champion in swimming, Lee was even better at billiards: he specialized in three-cushion billiards, a notably difficult variation of the sport. Lee won nearly two dozen national championships in three-cushion, in addition to three world championships.

Edward Lee died on May 18th, 1969, at the age of 63.
