Richard Brunn is a former member of the Board of Governors and a 1992 NYAC Hall of Fame inductee.  

Richard Brunn was born on September 9th, 1919 in Manhattan, NY. Brunn attended Washington and Lee University in Virginia before entering the Army during WWII. Brunn received a Purple Heart, in addition to other combat medals, for his service in the North Apennines in Italy.  

Brunn, a life member of the NYAC, was elected to the Club in 1942. During his tenure at the NYAC, Brunn served on the Board of Governors and as NYAC Treasurer. He was also a member of many Intra Clubs, including the Saturday Morning Parents’ Club, of which he was a founder and president.     

Richard Brunn passed away on August 7th, 2017 at the age of 97.
